suggestion - remove currently not used wrapper functions

As those are only used with other functions combined and in those places the wrapper names of the GV_Module_State is already used it seems to be reasonable to delete them (@rdubner you may find a way to use them, then of course: keep 'em in).

This is only a suggestion, feel free to just close this one without a merge just dropping a short note.
